What can I expect from a workout with The Hard Yard?

A 45 minute workout that does away with intimidating equipment + relies solely on your own bodyweight to get you sweating. An expert trainer will guide you through a warm up, 30 minutes of hard work + a cool down. 

 

What do I need to bring with me?

All you need is yourself + a bottle of water. There are always taps available where you can refill your bottle at our venues.

 

What should I wear?

Anything you feel comfortable moving about in. Our only suggestion is to wear suitable training shoes.

 

I'm new to exercise - will I be able to keep up?

Our workouts are suitable for all fitness levels. You can go as fast or slow as you like during timed intervals. We prioritise good form above all + always encourage you to take the workout at your own pace. We'll tailor exercises to your ability to make sure you get the most out of your workout.

 

Are the workouts scary?

You'd be forgiven for thinking so from the name - but in reality, no. Newcomers are always welcomed + we like to think of ourselves as a family. You will never be shouted at or singled out, + all workouts take place in a group setting so you're with other people. 

 

What qualifications do the trainers have?

We're all Level 3 qualified Personal Trainers.

 

Can I turn up on the day for a workout?

No, we don't accept walk-ins. You need to book your workout in advance through our website  - but this can be done up to 1hr before a workout begins.

 

Are there showers I can use after the workout?

Unfortunately none of our venues have shower facilities. We're working on it ...
